    Default Categories

    How would I go about adding new Categories/Classes in Custom Battle format?

    I want to be able to separate Hoplites from Spearmen.

    Also, if anyone knows, how would I go about adding new Particle Effects? For whatever reason, the VFX does not seem to work for me, I do not know what reference bases they might be linked to.

    Can anyone help me with these classes?

    What I'm trying to do, is add a 'Hoplites' class to the game, so that I can make the different between spearmen and hoplites more pronounced. But for whatever reason, I add the inf_hop to the appopriate DB folder, then add in the text to Inf_hop, but for whatever reason, the class shows up at the very bottom as 'Generals'

    Can anyone help me? Or atleast tell me *all* of the databases that classes are attached to?

    They aren't just attached to db tables, they are also attached to group formations that the AI uses. So creating one is a bit tricky.

    Bah, needless complication. I remember when games had databases that weren't references to references to references to references and didn't have half the code from the previous game in it. Oh well, looks like I won't be adding in a new class.
