Sorry to start a whole thread for this but are there any decent mods out there that successfully has a balanced unit size increase to a possible X1.5 or even x 2 sizes ??

And what mods are they compatible with ?

Depends,what you want. There are mods to increase sizes of units. BUT ships are running out of space. YOu can cheat it with more ships per unit. BUT there are hardcounted landing spots on beaches so you are able to land not so many ships in the end...
