    The steam version of the hotfix is now up.

    Having issues uploading to sourceforge. Will post once resolved and the pack is up.

    If you have a gmail, use google drive. takes like 25 mins to upload and it gives you a link to the file, if you do end up using google drive remember to set your view file setting to public.

    Running out of space on google drive, we use it for the mod teams files

    Still moddb and sourceforge vanilla unit size versions need to be uploaded.

    if only my upload speed was faster

    That is for the vfx stuff like our dust and blood effects.

    133. Reduced missile block chance bonus from hoplite phalanx from +25% to +15%, (pike phalanx = +20%, shield wall = +10%)
    You're making me cry man! Missiles are so over powered and over recruited already... Anyway I should test the latest version before cry.

    Hi Magnar,

    Started a new campaing with the Romans after updated the steam mod version and at the first battle against the Etruscans at Vellatri all infantry units (Romans and Etruscans) are not showing their shields, all cavalry units are ok.

    Had a lot of fun with the latest version but I would argue missiles are still mega over powered - I recruited mercenary long bow hunters for a siege as Nervii and they cut the enemy like butter. These are very inexpensive units and they both killed well over 500 men each (on 240 infantry unit size) They have seemingly endless arrows and their reload and accuracy is turbo charged. I actually lost the siege though as a result of arrow towers cutting me up. Missiles....

    I really hope the team has had a close look at JaM's battle mechanics.

    If somebody , playing the campaign, can explain how major empires developed will help for next balance.

    In the last hotfix some tweaks was done by Magnar to aid Carthage. We hope that work.

    And about missile damage...Magnar will explain better.

    Did you use all 5 steam packs? If you only used pack 1 then all the custom models and textures will be missing.

    Checked now and the 4th pack was not activated;
    Will replay the battle but it should was the reason for sure, sorry for my mistake

    Steam Hotfix downloaded automatically and now the game crashes at the splash screen. no idea why or how to play the game anymore. Thoughts?

    I deleted the old files and redownloaded VV v0.601. Still crashes on start up. Can't get past the splash screen.

    The DLC probably introduced something that is causing issues with the mod loading. Magnar is trying to find the issue and will update the files once he creates a fix.
