    Default Censor's booth

    The Censor
    There were certain things that had to be done. It's the censor's duty to handle the land contracts. Lanatus dutifully places his stool somewhere in the forum, surrounded by clerks, clients and assistants. Once there, heralds publicly announce around Rome that two contracts of sheep and one of cattle will be auctioned that morning. Plebians will make their bids and the censor will choose the ones he deems worthy.

    ooc: The bids must be silent, aka by pm. You must specify the wanted animal kind and the bid.

    Lucius Valerius stop by the Censor's booth and examines the list of pastoral land tracks available.
    "have you had many bids yet, Lanatus?" he asks.

    "You'd be surprised Senator"

    He inspects the list handed to him by a dutiful attendant.

    "And hard bets, the treasure will benefit greatly from this, Lucius Valerius"

    After reading again the list of bids answers:

    "There those who have bid enormous sums, and for the wellfare of our Treasure I've already decided who win these bids"

    Heralds and messengers then publicly announce the winners:
    1º-Cattle->Lucius Valerius Poplicola
    2º-Sheep->Quintus Aurelius Orestes
    3º-Sheep->Gaius Asinius Naso

    Valerius, having been told the bid winner were being awarded this afternoon, is jubilant. He makes preparations to inspect the land and hire the best herders for his cattle.

    Orestes is disappointed he did not acquire both sheep and cattle, but leaves without any word or sign of it, heading off to inspect his sheep.
