Bugs with console

Right now I'm playing SPQR campaign, EB 2.01.

Everytime I try to change anything in descr_settlement_mechanics.xml, i get an "unspecified error" while loading the campaign save. I know that changes in this file are savegame-compatible, so it has to be something else.

What's more: in the first turn I could find named characters via console (character_reset "CnaevsB Romanvs", remove_trait blahblahblah and all that stuff), but since the 2nd turn it's no longer possible.

The same error goes with settlement names, which apparently have changed when I conquered them.
