Default Formation's cohesion (less blobbing) and new formations

I would like to know how to increase foramtion's cohesion (less blobbing) wich file i need to modify?

In addiion to this i was wondering if it is possible to create new formation types or to mod existing ones...for example: is it possile to odify the shield wall formation in order to achieve a different disosition of men inside the unit?

For blobiness I would suggest looking at unit spacing

Iīd like to do so too, i donīt think a shield wall should be restricted in rank depth, 4 ranks should be enough, but i can only deploy them with at least 8 ranks...

Here are the files that are most useful:
-battle_entities: increase unit radius slightly to give each soldier more "personal space," but not too much or tight formations (shieldwall) will not be neatly ordered
increase deceleration speed greatly (I have it at 120) so units will stop almost immediately after a charge - only do this for infantry, not cavalry
-unit_spacings: increase vertical spacing to give each line of soldiers more room in the front and back; helpful in keeping formation attack units in formation
Making all these changes should keep blobbing to a bare minimum.
