    The Vae Victis Team


    The roots of Vae Victis go back over a year. Magnar Mod was founded in September 2013 by one insane guy calling himself “Magnar” of all things. He had a pretty cool
    vision, had mad modding skillz and worked really hard. Over the past year lots of people have joined the project and given countless hours of their precious free time.
    “Imperium Aquilarum”, another mod started in August 2012 by General George S. Patton and Splenyi with a similar focus, merged with Magnar Mod in July of 2014 and
    the decision was made to rebrand as Vae Victis. In recent months Vae Victis has continued to attract new talent and is in a good position to keep churning out more
    historical content.

    Yes I did see his name there. But I wasn't sure if he just helped out or if you guys are actually using his unit packs as they were not mentioned in 'included mods'.

    no we dont use his unit packs or any other unit packs. All our units are created by our team specifically for this mod. We do use some of his textures though.

    We'd like to have a new unique unit card style added to the mod but would need a 2d artist to join and work on it. Until then we will be using vanilla style unit cards.

    Oh really, that is very ambitious. But it's good to hear you use KLA's textures, he has done some fantastic work and they appear to be thoroughly researched and very historically accurate (the most important thing for me and it seems that for this mod aswell).

    Its even more international now. The above team/credits is only for those who have worked on the current release build, will be adding many more names once the next update rolls around.
