Hi,
I don't know how useful this feedback is but in my last playthrough on the current version of DEI I clearly can see that Carthaginians and Greeks fight and operate their army in a coherent formation and lost the "flubber" mosh pit style. They kept their formation and line even during the initial clash with the front line which seldomly occured in the past. The Germanic tribes still keep their messy pessy style which is great and accurate.
The war elephants themselves seem to be used more intelligently by the AI ... He kept them in the back in my last two battles and rammed them on my weakest flank in mid battle which caused a massive route on my roman army and a painful but amazing defeat the second time. (the first time they got scared half way and butchered their own army). I do believe they could be made slighty more resistent in terms of health but I love how they just crush an army formation with no discrimination ...
On previous versions they would simply rush forward and get sliced thin by javelins ...
Whatever you did keep it that way![]()
