Help me please!

Decided to try installing a webcam. Installed it using what is quite possibly the wrong driver and now every video or clip is either much darker or almost black in colour when I watch it.

Tried uninstalling things but cannot shift it, system restore only goes back so far (not far enough).

Help me please this is incredibly annoying.

You could always try reinstalling your video drivers if nothing else works.

If you have an Nvidia card there are all sorts of options for video overlay brightness/contrast in the old "right click on desktop-->Properties-->Settings-->Advanced" though i cant remember exactly where since I'm using ati now.. pfft

Alternatively it could be a codec issue so you could try reinstalling those too.. but i wouldnt have thought so.

I know it is ridiculous that I needed to be told to reinstall my drivers but there you go.
