Any strategical or tactical help would do but please tell me how to get rid of this massive debt at the start of the game.

If you are completely new at this mod, start with Rome or Carthage. They are economically the strongest two factions while having no serious military threats.

For help, either read this, this and this or play and gather experience on your own.
