    Default Metallurgy and upgrades

    When will improved metallurgy be available outside the Italian states? Currently I only have IM in Venice and Ancona. I understand you only get IM in a citadel or huge city. Apart from Ancona and Venice I have 11 citadels and 1 huge city spread out all over Europe.

    When will I be able to upgrade to advanced metallurgy?

    between 1450-60
    Italian factions get it at 1400 though
