Thats PEGI. Maybe ESRB has it 16+? PEGI= Europe ESRB= USA.
Why is that a problem? Lower age = more sales. More sales = more TW.
So, they mean nothing, you cannot legally be stopped in a shop from buying the game with that 12 badge on it, its just a recommendation.
Under the patronage of Rhah and brother of eventhorizen.
There is no problem....
I didnt say it was bad, nor that its good. I dont really care about the age limit.
I just wanted to say that its changed, it used to be 16.

Maybe but the blood effects got better and more realistic.Originally Posted by Vercongetorix

They just probably just lowered it because it wasn't as bad as they initially thought.
After all it is medieval era we are talking about now.![]()
Age limit of 12 sounds fair, to me, sure youth ( including me ) are exposed to more "mature" things more than ever. Also it is a game, of war!, let the blood flow like wine and the bodies stack till the heavens.
Edit: Just reread Lusteds' postWell even if the age limit was lowered to 12 it wouldn't bother me.
The age rating for the game is 16. How do i know this? Because The Shogun has emailed me to inform me that anyone who looks 16 or under will have to bring proof of age to the Gold code day event.

Well it doesnt affect me.
My birthday is today. And now iam 16 years oldlol
But could it be different age limits in different countries?
Well, the age limit on the special edition (check the link at the first post) is still 16 and the normal edition is 12. But as there are blood effects in it im pretty sure its 16 in the USA. I dont know about Europe though. And, if you have a problem getting it because you are under age, you could still order it online.
How about i repeat myself for the 3rd time:

I get the feeling that the reason for the gold event limit is due to the fact that anyone under 16 is going to be rather out of place in said event.
But 16 for the game sounds right.

No SG, 16 is the age rating for the game, thats why the Gold Code event is limited to people aged 16 and over.
