Well... OOGB was Gimli's faction. So I assume no one plays them atm?
I can sub if I have to...but any volunteers?
I already had my chance in this Hotseat. If you can't find someone else I might join, but I'm very busy these days so I'll only do it as a last resort.
Angmar subbed, Rhun up:

So OoG and Dwarves have no player atm. I think we're happy to have you Egyptian
Dale

Dale is subbed, Dwarves are up. I will give it 24 hours in case we get a replacement.
I just realised there currently are 4 players left (not counting Joe) and 9 factions...
Really? Only 4 players? Is that including you Egyptian?
Perhaps we should assign a 2nd faction to each player...

Yeah, that's a problem.
Well, I don't have a clear idea of who is still active in this HS (with which faction) and who is not.
I mean, I wouldn't mind to take over Dale, it's basically a useless 1,5 stack faction with a Japan-like debt. No way to recover from it
If we only could slightly balance this further out, and have everyone agree with it, I'd go for it. I mean, likely it will be this or close the HS down, (or have the admin sub 3-4 factions at once)

We could balance it out with 2 factions each but one player will only get 1 faction. Perhaps it can be the Dwarves then? If it's possible to balance it that way it would be pretty cool.
Otherwise you can all have 2 factions each, I will not join, and Joe can sub 1 faction.
Or you join, Dwarves take Dale and I'll be alone and kill Dale asap![]()

Assigning the remaining factions to current players might be the only way to keep this hotseat alive then. Either based on current diplomacy or on what people think is fair.
My faction is SE but it is weak - I was dependent on Ranger's Dwarves to survive and I was subbing HE but had no relationship with them.
OoG-OotMM (+ Mordor for as long as they remain, not much left when the army in DG gets destroyed)
Rhun-Dale
SE-Dwarves
and that leaves HE and Eriador.
Perhaps the Dwarves should be given to Egyptian though, since they are the OP DwarvesI can continue to sub HE and poor themzr would be stuck with only Eriador.
Is this along the lines of what people were thinking?
My issue with this is giving Dale to Rhun. Dale still has over a full stack of troops. Chieftain could immediately blitz the Dwarves if he chose to. I know the Dwarves were planning on Dale remaining defensive since I was subbing. To suddenly change that arrangement would IMO unfairly shift the balance of power.
The dwarves are already overpowered! I say let them rot!

Ok, so what about
OoG + OotMM + Mordor
SE + HE + Eriador
Dwarves + Dale
Rhun
To keep everyone on board, SE + HE would be controlled by JWANT and Eriador by themzr and they would play as a team, like in the Tag Team Tournament.
