I feel for you Themzr. That's the problem with free-for-all hotseats. The more you play, the more you'll get a feeling for who can and cannot be trusted.

Given the structure of this hotseat, Eriador should be one of the first factions to be defeated. As SE, I am also in a very tough spot. Sometimes diplomacy can save you but other times there is nothing you can do.

I think it would be difficult to police betrayals since so much diplomacy happens outside of the game. Unless there was a rule set for breaking in-game alliances that allowed, perhaps, 5 turns of peace before fighting, I don't think much can be done.

Betrayals are one of the most entertaining parts of FFA Hotseats unless you are on the wrong end of it!

I'm getting pretty sick of your constant whining, spouting lies because you have failed to ally yourself with anyone. I didn't even pretend to be your ally.

What posseses you to move forward against me like this? You agreed to peace? Why would you want to turn your back and betray me, your reputation in this game and as a hotseater is very important why ruin that so early and so soon. I'm the weakest player in the game now and pose no threat to your op AR. Look to take on someone else!

You have offered me no incentives not to attack you. Have you made any alliances or provided me with a reason that you would be a credible ally?

If you expected me to be your ally, I would have expected more communication. I've been in contact with my enemies more. I don't know what your objectives in this hot seat are and how you want to survive, I tried to ask you how you could be of benefit to me and my allies and you didn't provide a good answer.

Its not too late to convince me. But its got to be good.

1) We agreed to a 15 turn NAP, you are breaking your word
2) The OoG are a much bigger threat. If you leave your lands in the west undefended they will attack and take them.
3) How longdo you think 1 halfstack of dwarves can stack against 2 stacks of Eriadors finest?
4) You will end up with me at a standstill at the town. Your men will once again leave your lands undefended and you are risking your whole west for 1 measly 237 income town.
5) I am known throughout these forums. I guarantee that if you betray me here, combined with your betrayal of arrow I will make sure no-one allies with you again in any hotseat. You won't be trusted by people and your hotseating career will be miserable when you have no friends, no allies, and a game full of paranoia. And all of this from one of your first hotseats.
6) Who are you and your allies? I can provide the best generals in the game combined with the best recruitment in the game as well.
7) I have experience over you. I've hotseated more than you and my skills are superior to yours.

I asked you many times to provide me with a reason to have you as an ally, you failed. I'm pretty sure I said something like I could sign a NAP and that I wasn't planning on attacking anyone (yeah I lied).

A betrayal is as personal as it gets. I feel like getting betrayed by 3 players in my last 2 hotseats and I promise I will do whatever I can to make sure people don't ally with you in future hotseats.

I'm sorry if I offended you at the time. I'm not good with immediately dealing with betrayers and I'm a much nicer guy once you get to know me.
Furthermore I've moved on from this and I thought you had too (especially considering the fact that you're the one doing the back-stabbing ). I don't think the post accomplishes anything and it seems a little petty to me anyway. Its not like you have to prove anything here.

You did betray me..... I don't know why you cling onto this so hard. Especially by keeping pm's and showing them to everyone. I mean regardless of whether or not you betrayed me. It will fail since I have more men than you think.... So at this point whether or not you think you will didn't betray me is moot.
