a fantasy/story-based in actual history mix mod about Ancient Egypt "the prince of the sceptre and throne~"~"

this will be a Fantasy/story oriented mod " surrounding the death of a late Pharaoh and his remaining 7 sons who all control individual city-states throughout the grand Kingdom and vie with each other to become Pharaoh themselves" "(but it will be heavily based in authentic historic detail and fact but for game play fun! and aesthetics liberties will be taken!) the era will be the New kingdom and Dynasties of ancient Egypt,
the Map coverage will be "blown-up" and cover all of Egypt, Part of Ethiopia and the Sudan, a part of the Middle east (just enough to add all of modern day Jordan and Israel, part of Syria and Iraq and part of Arabia)
since this is Semi-fantasy factions and units will "veer" from complete accuracy
but units will most likely be:
Basic spearmen
basic archers

advanced spearmen
advanced Swordsmen
advanced archers

Elite Spearmen
Elite Swordsmen
Elite Archers

Chariots
Elephants
(better names for all units to come!)
Factions are undecided but there will be at least one Arabian, one Ethiopian and seven different Egyptian representing each prince and his city

some changes: I have decided the map will only be Egypt itself and the factions the seven princes, I have begun preliminary work on the main menus and faction symbols (alot more to do!) but here is a preview of todays work~

As a suggestion, you could have less of the Egyptian canes (if they're not the correct term mind my ignorance) They over crowd the screen, but the concept it well thought out.

I like this idea Druvatar, i love Ancient Egypt. Have you considered adding the Hittites? They could be an emergent horde faction like the Mongols but with a lot of Chariots

actually that is a good idea,ya U was originally thinking about doing a mod about the unification of upper and lower Egypt but there was not enough "wiggle room/flexibility" for creative License~
also I am using the "Americas Campaign" as a base, so buildings and models, voice types etc. will all be modified from that game I may not use an content from "Vanilla" Mtw2 at all! and by the way if any interest is in the "British Isles mod I did that is pretty much done and I could upload it!
