Silanus enters the Factions hall and greets his members

Greetings brothers of Rome elections have come to pass and we now must count our loses. Overall I must say the party did well in securing at least one member in each office with the exception of Consul, so there is plenty of room for improvements. Gentlemen we not forget our purpose here, we must continue to push back the plebeian demands and enforce our right to govern not only on election day but everyday on the senate floor.

Now if anyone has any issues they wish to discuss please speak freely

Why is it, Senator Libo, that you did not vote for my consulship? For that matter, it would seem that two other members of this party also did not vote. Why is that?

Titus they're 2 members of the house of Libo in the Senate, I'm afraid the elder isn't a Republican as of yet as for the younger he was taken ill and unable to attend the polls.

Fellow Senators it is important you vote for your party members, it is how are party can remain strong. I understand that it is possible that some may be unfamiliar with some of the candidates within the party, so I urge members to get involved and interact with each other.

Tiberius enters the Republican lounge nervously and speaks towards all present senators

Greeting senators and friends. May i express my worries about the betrayal Aelianus and his recent letter in the senate, he proposed the outlawing of our party. If we do not take actions against him then that can have serious consequences for us members. If there are other people who have the same opinion as him and unite then it might be possible our party is doomed and our lives at risk. We should do something about him. Perhaps we can try to assassinate him and blame it on the samnites? What's are the opnions senators?

Silanus calmly spoke

We must stay calm brothers, we are neither assassins nor murderers but Senators of Rome. If we are going to do something violence must only be a last resort, may I suggest that we blacklist certain councillors for now. Deny them our votes and support, we shall see who they will turn to when they need votes.

Silanus than pulls Tiberius to the side to carry on the conversation in private

No man is perfect, we must find the Quaestors imperfections and exploit them. A scandal would destroy any creditability he might have had, he would be disgraced to Greece or some no name village far from Rome.

What do you think of enforcing a scandal, perhaps we could try to create a sexual scandal , he would be disgraced everywhere in Rome.......

Silanus i do not agree with your recent nomination of Maximus for the Pontifex maximus you tried, he's still a boy barely in his teens and he's unproven. He's not even in the senate if i call correctly and he has no real friends..... don't try to such move again.
