    Default How hard coded is settlement gifting/selling into the game? Has anyone cracked it'

    I really want to build strong buffer zones with client states but this is very hard to do. I usually rebel the provinces then let them take it, but they are more interested in other stuff and the other AI factions come in and steal it...

    I know right. I completely support you on that. Imagine that, you can have peace in exchange of a few territories? Wouldn't that be realistic and pleasuring?

    Also, how hard should it be to make an option where you ask another nation to perform a peace treaty? Let's think Syracuse is warring against Lybia, you're playing as Carthago, you want them stop warring with Lybia and you select the option "Request Peace"? That should be really hard to make.

    Either way, if anybody ever do that settlement thing, man it's gonna be one of the best mods ever.
