    Well, I finally gave EB2 a go. I installed it over a functioning M2TW installation, went to pick a civlization to play with and as I was going through the list, the game simply crashed. Not sure if it was low memory (though Vanilla works fine, some other mods as well) or the fact I still use Windows XP on my PC.

    Known bug. I think you can prevent it by going back to the main menu periodically.

    I read that this is a M2TW bug that happens in Vanilla as well, but I haven't confirmed.

    OK, we are in business. Successfully started a campaign though I've not yet made any moves. I'm a bit concerned that if I start playing, the world will disappear around me. I also have a few campaigns in EB1 that would like to continue; not sure I could if I started playing EB2...
