Is this advanced Assembly Kit guide needed?
I've figured out how to do a few things with the Assembly Kit that it doesn't do 'out of the box', such as adding entirely new factions (not just renaming existing ones), adding auxiliary areas, adding character names and groups, adding sub-cultures, and adding/changing victory conditions. That's all I can think of off the top of my head, but basically all the things that would cause a hanging crash when trying to make startpos.esf, or would make it but be buggy (settlements not starting with buildings and/or garrisons for example), meaning custom stuff can now be added to it. Most of it I could already do using the Pack File Manager, but of course it's a lot easier using the kit because you can freely regenerate the file without worrying about making a load of manual edits all over again.
Now I don't actually use any mods that I haven't made myself, so I've got no idea if this stuff has already been figured out by someone else and there's already a guide somewhere, but if it won't be a waste of my time should I post one?

Are you able to generate startpos with bob just adding this ? I still unable to do it. Haven't tested them post patch 15 though.

Rule of thumb: If you can't find a tutorial/reference for your topic, then go ahead and make one. Even if it does duplicate someone elses work, everyone approaches problems and explanations in different ways and you may provide that little extra piece of information someone else didn't.
