Default Steam Installation - (Failed to start game: Missing executable)

Sorry if there's a place this thread should go (Like a common installation thread problems) and I missed it.

Anyways, I'm using steam and I'm having trouble installing it. I renamed the folders of a kingdoms campaign but when I start it via steam, I get an error message that says it's missing an executable. Thoughts to what I should do? I'm going to try copying an executable to the folder but I'm not sure if that'll work.

    Thanks in advance!

American, French, Israeli and British government's ILLEGAL aggression against the Syrian people, without any proof for chemical attacks in Douma, and without waiting for OPCW to conduct their investigation..
Sons of *******, leave that poor, war torn country in peace.
If you are a citizen of one of these countries, then DO NOT ask any help from me on these forums, since, in protest against this aggression by your governments, I do not provide assistance/help anymore.
Let Syria be finally in peace.

A video of false chemical attack in Douma, Syria, which led to Western illegal attacks.

I'm trying to use the universal batch program but I'm confused as to make it work. Are there step by step directions out there?

Do not rename Third_Age_3 folder located in your M2TW/ mods folder. Put this Universal Batch Launcher in your Third_Age_3 folder and run it.

I had the same problem mate. All you do is open steam, go into your library, right click on medieval 2 total war and select which kingdom game you want. It will run from there
