Well, the thing is I'm using the Eras RTW/BI disc but is thinking about going back to 1.2 ( I have the old discs too ) to be able to play RTR Gold. I was thinking about uninstalling my current installation, install RTW 1.0, patch it up to 1.2 and install RTR Gold. The thing is I have IBFD installed right now on a copy - I always keep my original RTW/BI installation clean and copy the entire thing when I need to for mods etc.

If I uninstall my current RTW/BI disc and install RTW 1.2, will I still be able to play play the IBFD mod I have right now? Basically, can a copy of RTW be played without the game actually being installed, if you understand what I mean?

if ur saying
u have installed ibfd on the copy of rtw/bi installation {not original one}
then u will be able to play that mod even if u uninstall the original installation,install it again to 1. 2patch .

just remeber to start the game from the desktop shortcut of bdf mod
