Titus sits with his men engaded in lively conversation in the raised table area of the Aventine Collegium in front of the steps towards the living quarters.
The dimly lit Collegium is alive with drinkers and gamblers, prostitutes linger between tables on their customers.
The noise ebbs and flows as wine cups are toasted and dice rattle from cup to table, painted across the largest wall of the interior is Varro's Collegium symbol of 3 Wolves. One to represent Titus, the largest and two smaller wolf heads to signify Lucius and Marius.

Gnaeus stepped in to the Aventine Collegium with a grim smile. He had been before, years ago, drinking for no other reason that because he could.
Looking around, he thought that the place had been cleaner back when he was a frequent visitor. Or maybe his memory skimmed over the heavy stench of sweat and stale vomit.
Locating the high table, the senator made his way towards the man he could only assume was Titus.
He received looks as he marched towards the fellow senator, from brutes who looked set to pounce with steel and fist. Ignoring them was something Gnaeus did with difficulty.
My friend Titus! I come to speak of our nominations for Tribunes of the Plebis!
He hoped that he had made the right choice. Yes, sure, he did not look like a roman hero, carved from stone, but he did look dangerous, with a fierce glint in his eyes.
I believe that friendship should exist between us, as partners speaking for the Plebis in the senate chamber.
Titus looks up from the table, a smirk draws arcoss his features, it was becoming increasingly common for political meetings to be conducted in the Collegium as opposed to its more common fare. This pleased Titus as it further reinforced his image as an important all be it confined to the Aventine. Titus looks up and down upon the figure of the Senator before him calculating that the man poses little immediate danger he waves his men away, he beckons towards his youngest son Marius sat at the end of the table to join him and Gnaeus
'Ave Citizen, I hope you do not mind if my son Marius joins us. He is nearly of age of would be mindful to learn of the way men conduct their buisness'
Marius assumes a position on the table and immediatly fixes Gnaeus with an uncomprimising stare,
'Now then Citizen, shall we discuss buisness how exactly can we be of benefit for it each other?'

Gnaeus inclined his head.
"We are men who want to provide for our families. We want to help those who have too little. However, we cannot go changing the republic on our own, and we cannot do it without a name for ourselves."
Gnaeus glanced at the youth sitting at the table. He was around the age of Gnaeus' son, and the thought almost brought a smile to his mouth.
"First we must become Tribunes, together. Let the people and the senate see us united in our conviction towards the republic. We shall support each other gaining senate positions and with finances if either of us should so need. Rome might not become ours, but you can believe me when I say it will be our childrens."
Titus nodded in agreement,
'What you say has merit good Gnaeus, I will accept your offer of friendship in regards to political advanatge. I must admit I am also looking towards financial associations also. My time here as leader of this Collegium has taught me that little in this city is immune to profit. To that end I suggest we look to pool our resources so that we can develop our intrests'
Titus beckons a slave towards the table,
'I suggest we both look at cornering different ends of the ripe mining market, this year from the profits of my Farming interests I will be purchashing a Mine, either Steel or Copper. I suggest that likewise you also expand into these interests. If we can begin to gain access to the resources we can look to either develop contractors or use them to trade. A corperation of sorts with our collective interests could be highly lucrative'

"You speak wisely," Gnaeus allowed, cursing himself for not realising earlier.
"Control over the city resources would make us much sought after by both Plebeian and Patrician. I shall return and begin planning to expand in to such enterprises."
With a deep bow, Gnaeus strode out, happy for the friendship created, and the experience gained.
A messenger arrives at the place bearing news - Lucius Julius Libo is interested in the venture and likes to contribute to it.
