Ok, Being a plebeian in this game is an uphill battle. Although not as much as people might think. Plebeians are needed to drive the economy in this version of the game, as patricians have restrictions on them that leave them trying to grow crops with their little ox drawn plows. The plebs have the power to go out and make money just about anyway they want. They also have the power of numbers, as most people in the city are now plebs. The city will brake down without the plebs, materials for building , manpower for fighting, money from taxes, all come from the plebeians. They can use this to their advantage when they think they are under - appreciated. It is also pretty fun to play sort of the underdog in the game. Can the plebs get on equal footing with the patricians? So come join the good guys!!


Also - Military conquers new lands - opens up new mines for the plebs, new farms for all - the new materials means Rome can build new and bigger things. Larger population, more men for the levies, more lands to conquer.
