Any chance for an even more faster version than the ultra fast battles submod? I know battles are all about flanking, breaking morale and routing enemies but to have max ranked Oathsworn go head to head with regular Hastati and not a single soldier dying in minutes is just.....
Then you must mix mods or exaggerate becuse even in normal DeI oathsworn will stomp through hastati.

In Faster Battles 2.0 Roman marines (Classiarii) are still 40 hp. Is it intended? Thanks

To answer some questions here, how much faster this mod is i tried something.
Sparta vs Roman
1 Spartiatai Hippeis vs 1 Cohors Pretoria
front to front battle
In both the Vanilla DeI and the Faster Battle 2.0:
At first strike the Pretoria losing some more Units than the Spartans, i thinks thats the better Strike of the Spartan Speers.
In faster battle there where even more loses than in normal DeI.
After 20 minutes of fighting:
normal DeI:
130 Spartenai left and 160 Cohors left
with Submod: (Yes battle still not over)
100 Spartenai left and 136 Cohors left
As you can see the Spartans lose more Units with time, maybe because the weapon is more deadly (deadliness of weapon 1) and the cohors have slightly better armor.
Maybe it was like this because deaktivating the Formation attack, what gives a Little Advantage against AI. For the battle mechaniks ask KAM.
But i read something at a webside that sword have Bonus against infantrie while Speers have Bonus agains kav.
But what I wanted to Show is that hard Units will fight Long even with submod but sliightly faster, what is perfect for me. And movement is like before. So you maybe have to plan your Formation more carefull than without Submod. Lines of lighter Units break a Little faster. Hold some reserves.

Hello, I was wondering if you could upload an "Even Slower" version. I prefer the combat style from 1.05. Really enjoyed watching the melee infantry go at it and cycling fresh troops in for the tired ones. Thanks!
If no one uploads a slower version, I'll share my own balance with you. It's inspired heavily by the 0.x-1.05 balance (the original slower balance that made me like battles in the first place). I was planning to wait for 1.2 to finish and then release it to the public adapated to 1.2, but I have it for 1.1 too.
Are those mods Savegame compatible? They are right? Since its only Battles...

Fixed problem.
Just so everyone know, I won't update those files until final release of 1.2 version. Reason is that some people play on steam using those submods for 1.1 version plus I want testing of 1.2 beta to be proper. I remember in the past about people complaining on too high kill rate without initally telling me that they were using ultra fast battles etc.

As stated in the original post, no, they are not compatible as 1.2 beta is for testing, if people would jump into submods, it would be impossible for me to make any logical changes.
