    no, type of ships should be visible in building descriptions. its caused by something else. check our dev thread

    nope. we have custom military group for grand campaign, but no ships were assigned to it. it will be fixed soon. ( a bit oversight on our side)

    So is the unit recruitment issue gonna be fixed anytime soon? Haven't played the game since I discovered that I couldn't recruit any troops in the main campaign last week.....

    yes, it should be fixed. I believe there already was one update that took care of this issue, so you should be able to play your campaign already.

    Now when I play I can't get past turn 5; crashes freezes as the game passes the Ptolemies turn, forcing me to CTRL/ALT/DEL to get out and close the game.

    can you do some PFM editing by yourself? i think it might be a damaged file, i had similar issue few days ago, and i corrected it by deleting unit variant colors table from the pack (its almost at the bottom of db tables).

    Can you post the save with that crash? might help us determine which value is causing it. ( we will upload fixed version quickly)

    I haven't modded Warscape since NTW; I dunno how much RTWII differs from its predecessors...

    I deleted unit_variant_colours there; seems to work for now - will keep you posted.

    I used custom battle to see units stats, and i saw that pontus bronze pikemen (820 gold) had same stats as levie (600 gold) units, it also had a lower stat than a 720 gold pikemen from seliucid or epirus

    While these things might change, there are also other factors that play role. Levy Pikemen earn experience slower than other pikes. Anyway, at this point, these Factions were not particularly rebalanced yet, they got stats based on morale settings. In the future versions, some units will receive experience at recruitment, while others will start with 0 exp. differences will be evident. (but not at custom battles, where all units start with 0 exp)

    Started new campaign; exact same crash after Ptolemaic turn (this is after deleting the file you suggested).

    Moreover; it seems that I can't leave certain gates in my settlement; tried sallying forth in the city of Ephesus during a siege but the arrow icon had a red x beside it and the doors wouldn't open.

    EDIT - Probably got something to do with the lack of capture points beside the gates.

    the gate thing is actually a vanilla bug that was not fixed by CA yet..
