    Default Graphical elements switching CTD

I'm playing a campaign as the Boii, and came across a recurring bug. Twice now in successive turns I've had a problem where interactive elements in campaign mode (things like ticks, crosses, siege options, etc.) have been replaced with graphical components from things I was recently looking at. Saving and reloading causes a CTD, but the save is fine after re-opening the game. The second time I thought to take screenshots before attempting to reload:

As you can see, certain graphics (such as siege options, 'close window' buttons, and unit experience chevrons) are being replaced with parts of the generic hill-fort image, and unit cards from the garrison of the town I have under siege. In the previous instance, it was instead portions of the larger image card for a Dacian unit I'd been examining. I've never encountered this issue with M2TW, but I've never played it on this laptop before so I can't rule out that it could be a problem with my computer handling the game engine rather than a bug in the mod.

Just as an aside, I've been a fan of EB since 0.8 and I was thrilled when I saw that you guys had released EB II. Thanks for all the hard work that you've put in so far, and your continuing efforts!

Yeah, when this happens, quicksave right away because a crash is coming.

I don't think anyone has quite nailed down when or why it happens.

There have been a few reports, but so far none of these are repeatable and all involve different factions doing different things at different times. So we suspect there's some sort of memory leak. Fortunately it's rare and the instant you see the visible change in the UI you KNOW the CTD is coming and can take action to avoid it.

Was discussing this with GRANTO, and here's his recommendation:

it still happened , i think it may be a kingdoms memory leak , other players have reported seeing it on other mods...but making my game 2gb+ aware made a big difference to my performance, the campaign map was smooth when toggle_fow fully open.... as before i had slight stuttering.

Just had this on my Romani campaign. Thanks to this thread I saved it immediately, right before ctd.
