Campaign map background music - Anyone heard it?

And if so is it any good? May seem trivial to some but IMHO it is really quite important that the background music to the campaign map is something pleasant on the ear.

You spend most of your time playing the game on the campaign map an it would be appalling if the background music is so annoying you want to smash your computer to bits after 5 minutes.

The music in the game setup screens in the demo is fairly decent, but obviously we have not heard what it is to be on the campaign. CA got it just right with the background in Rome IMO, heres hoping they hit the spot with M2.

I know what you mean, campaign music in rome total war (for the romans) wasnt that good (what i mean too much of it got me crazy) but in my opinion barbarian and greek/eastern campaign music was good in RTW..hope all of them are good and better than RTW.

Actually, I liked the music in RTW, even the campaign map music. It was one of the few things about RTW that I didn't mod. I'm looking forward to hearing the M2TW music, from what I've heard from the demo, it will be equally good.

I didn't care much for the Roman latin girl singing, the barbs and others however I liked. I sure hope the scot music is good!

The music he has composed has always been great, I have never been left down in that aspect of the game in any of the TW series.

Well one thing that is sure is that the music has always gotten better as the TW games progresses and so far the music in the demo is just great.
I think the rest will be so too.

The TW series are games I simply can't listen to other music whilst playing. It just doesn't sound right. I thought the music in RTW was pretty good, yeah, but the music in the previous titles was much better in my opinion.

I liked roman music, especially latin girl. i kept on randomly bursting into song in class
"Gladiaaaaatooooooooorrrrr!"
"Iiiiiiiiiiiiimperatoorrrrrrrrrrr!!!"
Hope they do something equally cool and add in more battle flutes and bagpipes etc, like the victory music in the battles. God that music rocks.

If the music is as good as EB's, I'll be in heaven. The music so far in the demo seems good, and the music in RTW wasn't too bad

its weird i really cant remember the rtw music :S I really liked the music from EU2, proper medieval music, it really suited the game. It would be cool if the campaign had something like that, otherwise i could mod it

Yes good music is very important to me as well, I liked RTW's music, I don't remember MTW's or STW's music however I don't recall being disappointed with it.

If you watch the videos with the campaign they have some great music.

In Italy there was some twangy mandolin music and I remember some good eastern music when they were in Egypt or something.
