Icon for Custom Unit in Augustus Campaign

So I've been trying today to port over a modded unit that I've been using in the Grand Campaign over to the Imperator Augustus campaign. I've gotten mostly everything done, except that the unit icon doesn't show in the campaign view in the game (it just shows the generic guy on a boat icon). The icon shows up properly in the custom battle setup screen also. When I try to switch the unit card in the unit_variants table to a vanilla rome 2 portrait icon, the same thing happens, where it shows up properly on the custom battle setup but no in the actual campaign. Any help is appreciated, and thanks in advance!

having the same problem, it's strange. even weirder is it only happens with one of my units, the rest work fine.
