Brightness slider no working in 2.01

Started the game today but the picture is quite a bit darker than usual.

I noticed that under Video settings - advanced- the slider for Brightness (gamma) does not function now.

Any reason why not???

I'm pretty sure that the reason is that you have the game working in windowed mode (but it's borderless windowed mode, so you can't really tell the difference from full screen) and brightness settings don't work in windowed mode. There are 2 ways to overcome this.
1. In EBII.cfg change windowed and borderless to =0
2. Use graphic's card settings panel to change gamma (eg. Nvidia Control Panel, or Intel settings)

However when I try to save the changes it wont let me. Access denied etc. How do I get access? I`m using Win 7.

P.s. I`m using Notepad.

Right click EBII.cfg and go to Properties. Untick "Read-only". Then apply. Change the lines mentioned above. Save the file. After saving you should tick read only in properties again, so that settings won't change themselves.

Thankyou Jigsaw that worked a treat. Don`t know why they changed it for 2.01 perhaps because I seem to remember people not being able to ALT-TAB it upon realease or something.
