I think everybody in this place better get into the authentic music like they get into the authentic equipment and all that...and that means Jordi Savall and Hesperion XXIOriginally Posted by Matty_P

Original manuscripts interpreted with original historical practice books on original instruments.
Hey Doli Capax,
Nice videos although the music wasn't my style, you did a great job!
Regards,
Grell
The music could have a more grandious feel about them, that would help grasp the events dipicted. While the music you used was good if you found some thing bigger it would add to the feel a little.
really nice =) good job man!

You want some fedback? :hmmm:
First, it looks like you've just done an "out to in" edit, meaning you havent really chosen the clips or edited them in a way they would fit, flow and link to each other ; or also brutally part, in a rythmical sense.
Your cuts look just arbitrary, but since the clips were originally edited for another movie and you generally take their full length, it might seem to be ok. But its not. Arbitrary cuts, no rythm and movement flow (I lack the english technical terms...)...
Not to speak of your musical choice.
Choice. That's what it's about ; not taste... It's not because you like that punk rock music that it will fit your movie (would you put it in ALL your movies?) nor will it fit your intentions, nor its effects... Think, chose, eliminate, compose, seek the necessary...
But if it was just for fun and to have people say its ok or cool, then "its ok... or cool!"![]()
Thank you. That's the kind of feedback I want right there.

I've watched your other vids, and you see, editing is about rythm. So is music, mostly.
But, well fist, your editing lacks rythm : there are no choices or intentions, thats what I meant by arbitrary ; you can cut a clip in many pieces and insert them in between one or many other peiced clips ; or you can slow-mo it or repeat it... You dont have to, but such are some simple tools to create rythm.
Then, unless its a clear intention, poetical or critical, you cant just paste the rythm of the music over the movie's rythm, especially if your movie lacks real recongnisable rythm... If you do so, one has to follow the other : if you really see the urge to use LedZep, then edit your movie to the songs rythm, with its punches, slow pace, accelerations, rise of intensity etc...

They are good..but music that fits the timeframe would have been way better..i mean this could be music for modern war..but medieval just doesn't blend in with rock.
Its like puting rap or pop with the roman/greek age.
It's not really my kind music, but seriously it's pretty cool what you did!!

I believe that to meet the challenges of our times, human beings will have to develop a greater sense of universal responsibility. Each of us must learn to work not just for oneself, one's own family or nation, but for the benefit of all humankind. Universal responsibility is the key to human survival. It is the best foundation for world peace.
I like the frist vid it was good but the 2d one music just ruined it for me.
