So far so good. Next, what we need to hear from CA next week with the Attila game announcement is that a naval overhaul is underway for the stand-alone expansion and it will update into TWR2 along with other improvements. Then we need to hear that map tools are being released.
Then we'll be on our way to getting the most out of this game.
Well I like to hear that they further develope the BAI.
- Reinforcing AI acts alone when they dont defend "When its a small army they will fill the ranks of the main army"
- Fixing units not attacking one unit "Blobbing" Attack in formation
- AI uses different formations for different factions
- AI Generals use different tactics
You name it BAI is missing it and needs it to make the Field Battles more fun.
Now SAI is partly fixed i think the BAI is missing big time and sould get just as big of a patch as the SAI got. Sure naval battles need some more love but i dont think they can do mutch more about it and field battles are more important if you ask me.

Yes not sure I understand all your points but certainly yes the BAI is not very good. The BAI blobs and divides itself in order to find mismatches. It likes to blob into a space that should be reserved for one unit only.
I had a battle yesterday in which I set up in a simple formation and did nothing. The BAI split its army so that it could cluster all its melee units around two units of mine. Two big blobs easily surrounded. Then it picked some spear units and chased after my cavalry, as far across the battle map as I was willing to run.![]()
Anyone else getting sound stutters during battles? Not had this up to today (including in 15 beta), very noticeable.
What about roster for Armenia, can someone screen it?
Did someone ask screenshots?
Here they are:

I Killed S.Pompey in battle, but he's still on the map and fled to one of his islands???.
Can't he die till the entire faction is killed or something??
In the patch notes:
'Coffee machine now works.'
Glad to hear it!
Garbarsardar has been a dapper chap.
I was thinking that this is the last update for RTWII but patch notes in wiki says "Next update - coming soon")
As I'm not a major fan off playing as Rome, I decided to try out Egypt. Rebelled against Antony and went to war the Judia to discover they are Hellenic? Is that historically accurate that they are using Hellenic troops, I really thought Judia would have units that resembled their faction and not being Greek.
Can the campaign leaders die in the emperor campaign?
Like, can Anthony die in battle?
Or will he just be wounded?
Can you complete the campaign, if anthony/lead characters die?
Bloody Hell. I left my machine on whilst I was at work to get the download, and forgot to opt out of the beta.
The best laid plans and all that.![]()
Your reality sir, is lies and balderdash, and I'm happy to say that I have no grasp of it whatsoever!
The changes sound intriguing and splendid. Only thing that gives me a bit of pause is the changes to civil wars which make me think there will be more, not less, of them and that they will be unavoidable still. However won't know till I give it a go will I? But all the other changes sound really good. I haven't really played in a long time so I am due for another campaign.
