    Civil war was changed dramatically in EE, it has nothing to do with DeI. Go check the vanilla patch notes for details. If your influence is too high or low (I'm not sure if it actually happens at low anymore...) a civil war can happen. Worse yet, it can happen more than once now (I think).

    In theory a civil war should not be able to happen before imperium level 4. Hmmm...

    With the latest version of this mod I'm getting unbearably long loading times... actually I thought it was freezing at the loading screen - it's not, but it may as well be... taking like 5-10 minutes just to load a save game :/

    Dresden,

    the issue with building slots requiring "0" pop surplus and remaining locked is present at the HATG campaign start as Carthage, in the town of Saguntum. (same issue as discussed here http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...1#post14099769 )
    Something to have in mind for your next update.

    First off I would like to start saying thank you to Dresden and his team, I love your mod and I appreciate what you are doing for all of us.
    Recently I have started a Campaign using the DLC Caesar in Gaul, and I think it needs to be modified to match the vanilla version, it is still the same way it was before the Emperor Edition, Caesar has full support of the Senate, a thing that does not happen anymore in vanilla and the proconsulate of Rome is the only faction, the SPQR that you can see in vanilla is not present in Caesar in Gaul with DEI.
    Anyways, I don't know if this is intented, but for the time being I would halt the campaign.

    Also, I think the Minor Settlements (Resources) names in vanilla are better!

    Village (Gold Mine)
    Settlement (Trench Mine)
    Town (Shaft Mine)
    Colonia (Sluiced Mine)


    vs (Dei)


    Roman Hamlet (Gold)
    Roman Village (Gold)
    etc

    At least Gold Mine, Trench Mine etc.. Maybe you will think about this.

    Something to have in mind for your next update.
    That isn't the case for me with the latest version. Either I uploaded the newest one incorrectly or you have an older version. Either way I will fix it with the next update.

    In my multiplayer game with my friend (grand campaign most recent update), bread and games went from granting 4 or more food in each provence, to -4 food in every single provence. This caused a swing of around -40 to -50 food which obviously is messing up our game. Is there an easy fix for this?

    The really easiest way would be to cancel the edicts Maybe use import food edict instead...

    Import food edict just makes it neutral. My question is, was this done in error, or is it now trading food for public order and growth per turn?

    No error! It was done on purpose. Like you said trading food for PO and growth. And it's actually a lot more logic, in my opinion, because that's what panem et circensis was all about, giving bread (food) to the masses to keep them happy.

    Yes, I hope to have a working Augustus campaign sometime this weekend. I have been working all week on it and have had to redo it several times. There are certain limitations they have placed on the campaign that have really thrown a wrench in the works for mods.

    Thanks man, we all appreciate the work.

    And others definitely feel your pain, Toons AIO mod is probably gonna go by the wayside, specifically because this update has broken so much , and he just doesnt have the time, along with many others.

    Its a shame CA says one thing, then does another.

    Ok guys, because I am not present here on daily basis, I got confused a little bit. If I understand the current situation correctly, I should disable older DEI mod version (with 5 or 6 parts If I am not mistaken, disable the patch15 part) and just enable thes new 4 parts of DEI 0.96 right? Is that correct? Thanks for the answers.

    No, forced march is bad. Having it leads to unbelievably hunts for the AI armies, you cant reach them, its really bad, play vanilla for a while you will notice.

    Got rid of all DEI parts and added "new" 4 part DEI. All is fine in the universe and Rome 2. (I continued on with my campaign as Rome)

    Revision 0.96a
    - Augustus Campaign is now compatible with DeI. Some parts not done yet: non-playable faction starting unit sizes, DeI mercenaries and starting garrisons (will have to replenish after first turn).
    - Made the following factions playable in Augustus campaign: Iberia, Gaul, Thrace, and Pontus.
    - Changed Armenian faction traits to match new vanilla ones, added Armenian chapter missions to main campaign.
    - Reduced Mercenary Upkeep by 35%.
    - Added in new character traits from Emperor Edition.

    - Small battle mechanics update:

    • Pike and hoplite phalanxes changed to shield rather than armor bonus. Kill rate improved. You will still have to tell hoplites to attack (formation animation still unfixed)
    • Removed Initiative and Deadliness from weapons to better balance units.
    • Altered javelin and pilum damage.
    • Cavalry changes: Lowered hitpoints, removed shield bonus for shock cavalry, small decrease to mass, slightly decreased damage, improved reforming.
