see thread title.
i'm about 5 fps shy of being able to play huge unit size, decent settings with smooth framerate... :hmmm:

i hope it is aswel, even though im going to upgrade my pc for the release of the game
Hopefully CA will do some more optimisation as shadows are still a big fps killer, though i don't play with them on myself out of personal preference(i don't like how they look).

I find if you kill the shadows you will see a little better preformance. But yes I think the full game will be more optomized than the last demo they put out, but not much more mind you.
yeah, i have shadows off. its mostly zooming in/models that kills my fps.
see, i must play on huge...as smaller unit sizes just seem too unrealistic.
I wouldn't count on it.
I thought the game was already gold, but unless the first patch does anything, I doubt it will get any better than the demo.

Isn't the Gold demo a different build from the actual 'gold' code? I believe I read this somewhere with a bunch of different build numbers...Originally Posted by AlfonsoVIII

I hope you are right, M2TW only just runs on my computer, if i play it with everything turned low as possible, it can manage, but im hoping it will be a bit smoother in the full game. I need to get an upgrade
It's five builds later. But keep in mind the demo is dated 10-20. Expecting anything signifigant is being overly optimistic IMO.
