2 years I didn't chech forum. Last week I thought "what if? No, this is madness, it couldn't be. Ok, lets see, why thise page loads so slow? Holly Molly! EB 2 is already released!".

EB team, I love you. This mod is a masterpiese. It should be placed in Louvre, Hermitage or British National Museum.

Very atmospheric. The units look very impressive, the detailes are implemented very deep. Music, ui, history description (!), units, it is more then a mod, the whole univerce.

    It was worth anticipaiting it.

    Thanks alot EB team.

Been playing it for a good 2 weeks now, and a few annoyances and nuisances aside, this game is perfection itself!

Can't wait for future versions! Absolutely brilliant!

Why don't you try another faction in the meantime? Or better yet, learn about making units so you can help out?

No one is working on that right, what I don't understand is why hasn't someone from the community found a fix or digged into this.
    Surely it's an easy fix.

I have a question: once everything is unzipped, how big is this mod in terms of gigabytes?

I have to ask, because I'm using Medieval II + the Kingdoms patch (alternating between playing the mods Stainless Steel and De Bello Mundi) on a MacBook with a Bootcamp partitioned hard drive that has a very limited amount of space. At the moment I only have De Bello Mundi installed, but even after uninstalling it and removing all its contents, that only frees up about 5.5 GB of space. Is EB II much larger than that? If so I would be unable to install it, not unless I repartitioned my entire hard drive, which is a major pain in the rear.

My EB 2.0 installation is 8.74 GB.

Damn. That's too big! Oh well. For now I'll just continue enjoying DBM. If the stars align just right, though, I might hopefully get a new laptop for Christmas, so this will cease to be a problem after that.

Altogether it has 37 GB, but much of that is taken up by Microsoft Windows 7 critical systems files and of course Medieval II Total War. When I installed De Bello Mundi, with its latest patch, which is about 5.5 GB in total, that leaves only about 0.8 GB of space left on the Bootcamp partition! The entire hard drive, including the Mac OSX part, is 240 GB.

Buy an external hard drive, even usb-sticks come in sufficient sizes.

Here's one for 60 bucks. Very useful even if you buy another comp in the future.

Just plug in the drive to usb port. Then use steammover or manually move for example DBM and EB folders to the new drive. You just place similar named shortcuts (the one you create with right click) in place of where the real folders were. Steammover does them automatically.
