Times (2 times in a row what bothers me) battle begins on the day and takes place very quickly in the dark. And there, no way to identify. Who's who?
Are there a file to edit to avoid this?

Agreed--it's rare, but when it does happen, it's awful. Missiles also glow white and stay that way in the ground... very odd. I see some code about "night" in weather_db, but I have no idea what I'm doing in that file. Would someone mind telling us how to just "turn off" the possibility of getting a night battle?
Those battles are very cool. However, they should probably be classified as 'night battles.'![]()
Thank you!
I want this night time battle occurrence (during the day) gone as well. It's a horrible scenario, whatever collision of shaders and light bloom happening is not good. The ground turns black with no texture and the setting sun somehow is blinding. Glad to know, its a known issue being worked on.
I strongly suggest moving this map time/weather type fully into the real night battle category once it's fixed. It will add variety to that much needed part of the tactics for factions who make attacks at night. I have yet to play a real night battle and hope to see more of them (not often, but not none either).
The real ones, with a specific game mechanic are a key tactical move for any faction attempting to cut off/prevent a reinforcing army from joining a fight. Generals with this ability should be treasured. And should be a regular option for even average generals of factions like the Getai and if ever forthcoming, a true Thracian faction.
