That really seems like alot of work for 1 file, it takes me 4 hours to reinstall total war (usually because i delete the installer and have to do it from amazon again). I don't understand why upolading files is against the rules, mods are based on vanilla files so why aren't they against the rules?

Uploading unmodded files is against CA/Sega's EULA (End User License Agreement). There have been enough requests for various unmodded files you'd by now have the game for nothing and why it's in there.

If you want the file you will have to jump through the hoops or use one already modded from a mod. There is no third option.

Is there anyway i can slow down the unpacker cmd? because right before it stops and disappears i saw "file missing" which i'm assuming is the reason why it's not unpacking everything. If i can see what file is missing i can try and fix it. By the way the unpacker stops at like 22 - 23k files.

If you wish to get all unpacked, http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...1#post14077571 is one I know works.

22k to 26k is about right for having the UAC enabled in Vista. The "to-do's" in that list gets longer with each newer version of Windows. Believe me.

Any other way has not proven as effective.

I tried that before and it didn't work (tried to stop it from installing in the virtual folder) so to do it again and it most likely not working will just be a waste of 4 hours. I took a picture of my CMD where it tells me my error, maybe someone knows a fix to this.

It does exist. You have a bad pack which means the installer has a bad pack.
