Default how to reduce kill rates effectively

Hey, iam playing the korea mod wich has darthmod included in parts, now what iam looking for is for the battles to last wayy longer, say twice as long.

how would i go about this in the most efficeient way.

i think the morale of darthmod fits pretty good maybe upp a little bit, what iam looking for mostly is slower killing.

do i need to adjust the defense values?
or better reduce the attack values,

or is there something like in medieval 2, a kill rate modifier, that applies for all units a f a kind?

    thanks and greetings

    Increase melee defense.
In my realism mod, I use attack values between 4-9 and defense values between 20 and 26. Not to mention armour values ranging from 3-16. Battles are now much more enjoyable.

hey Faroda, i did adjust the unit stats similar to what u suggested, my yari ashigaru now have 2-3 attack, samurai between 6 and 10, increased defense aswell now the battles are wayyy more ejoyable, tnx for the guidelines.

now i have anotehr issue, i want to increase the time it takes to train samurai, can u or anyone, may point me to the table where i can find that value.
Or did i miss it in Unit_stats_land?

    how is the entry called?

    tnx for the help,
    greetings

    edit.:

    i think i found it =)

you can adjust ui_unit_stats table to make the ui stat bar look nicer because defense values over 50 will be a full bar
