Unlock all factions

I have rome total war gold edition I have looked everywhere for an unlock all factions mod for both RTW and BI but they both don't work, they either don't work at all or they take me back the the main menu. If there is anyone out there who could give me a few links to a BI / RTW unlock all factions mod that would be fantastic! :>

open 'descr_strat' in the rtw/data/world folder, or something like that. At the top of this file are a list of factions that can be played, move all the factions into this section, except rebels. I think that should do it, someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm doing this off the top of my head...

Correct me if I am wrong but if I install that won't it be all german in game? Unfortunatly I can't understand german. :/

i dont know but u can browse in download section for a mod to make all factions playable

how do u unlock all the originally playable factions without beating one of the roman campaigns first? i just reinstalled RTW and i don't really want to beat it with a roman faction again.

sorry but i don't see it in there (im looking at the first post with all the how-to's. that's where im supposed to look right?) where exactly is it? (if u mean the first time thing where u have to play prologue before imperial campaign by changing to false in preferences thats not what im talking about.)
