    Default constant end turn CTD

It seems every 5 turns or so I get a CTD at some point during other factions turns, sometimes sooner. The game log and error just say an unspecified error, and the game stops responding. I read Kull's suggestions in another thread and tried to change my screen resolution to 1024x768, which unfortunately did not work.

I have also been trying to get the game run windowed as that was the other suggestion, however changing the EB cfg file has no effect on the game that I can see. The default file had windowed = 1 and borderless window = 1 which I'm told is supposed to make it run windowed. Changing them to true/false/0 had no effect when starting the game. I'm not sure if this matters but when I opened it it notebook it changed to a notepad file

I have made the game run windowed by adding "wondowed = true" to the preferences file in the main M2 file, however it starts very small (~1/3 my screen) and any resizing attempt makes it so I cannot interact with the game (cursor changes back to default one and I cant click on anything within the game/move map around/anything). It was suggested to add "borderless_window = false" but this did not work.

If anyone can tell me how to fix this I would be grateful.

Set the EBII.cfg file as read only after changing it.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

Also, it might be having no effect if you have conflicting settings in the medieval2.preference.cfg file. If it's starting too small, your resolution settings are probably too small. Make sure to change to the desired resolution in the same preference file.

windowed=1 will make it run in windowed mode. If your resolution setting is the same as your desktop resolution, it will "look" full screen if you have borderless_window = 1. Borderless_window = 1 removes the window border and in my experience, forces the game to display starting from the top left corner of the screen in a window that can't be moved.

Afraid I can't help with the CTD, as I've never had recurring CTDs during Romani, Pergamon, and Takashili campaigns.
