Trying to reninstall Medieval 2 Gold on disc, but will only install kingdoms

For some reason it keeps thinking I already have it installed for steam, even though I uninstalled it. So whenever I run the setup, it trys to install the expansions to medieval 2 in steam, even though the folder no longer exists. I uninstalled steam, and it still wont work. Are there any leftover registry files I have to delete? or is it something else?

Edit: nevermind, just ran the set up directly.
