I CANT CAPTURE SOME CITIES!

Ok, i have been having problems with taking some cities. Some like Skythion i think its called. When i try to take it, after a few seconds i instantly lose the battle. I dont lose any forces, i just lose the battle. Would playing as Sauromatae have anything to do with it?

Yeah I've had that too, at Bukharak, despite no walls being present. One workaround seems to be to siege until the enemy sallies.

It happened to me too. But it was because the town only had low walls and I brought only ladders and no ram. So the game knew I had no hope of getting inside so it made me lose. Have you tried bringing a ram into the battle?
