    Here is what happens every now and then in my campaigns. All my icons and buttons change to this odd background, but not all. Its still playable but it did crash when an enemy sallied, so i'm assuming it makes all battles crash. Just now it happened again and it froze after I tried left-clicking on a city.

    Yes mine has done this once too, and the game then crashed immediately.
