High Elf king dead at start of game!

I started a new game as the High Elves and my king Finubar is dead at the start of the game with a year of death listed as 0. His son is still listed as the heir. Can anyone advise me on how to fix this?

that's supposed to be like this, King Finubar is alive and in Ulthuan, you're playing as the elven prince leading a expedition to the old world, if you really want to change it. open descr strat, take "faction leader" out of finubar, give it to the prince, and give "heir" to one of the prince's brother, but I wouldn't advise it.
