Medieval II: Total War Installation issue
Hi,
I recently uninstalled Medieval 2 (delete local game content) but when I want to reinstall it, the game goes in the downloads queue and starts downloading at 1.7MB/10.4GB but stays still. ( + instead of saying downloading it says updating ) Can anyone please help me ?

Friday night, start of a 3-day weekend here, it could be nothing but server overload.
But please read this to see if any apply. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_...9828-SFLZ-9289

Re: Medieval II: Total War Installation issue
Let me tell you the full story, 2 days ago I wanted to install a mod for M2TW but accidentally installed it not in the mod folder in medieval but in the actual medieval folder so medieval wouldn't work properly anymore. I couldn't uninstall it so I verified the integrity game cache so the original files would come back and that's where the problem started. After that I uninstalled the game (delete local game content) and when I wanted to reinstall it it wouldn't download and said updatind instead of downloading.

Re: Medieval II: Total War Installation issue
Do us both a favor and forget your special color and font. It does not show in the theme.
"Delete local content" in Steam does no good for this game. If you wish to reinstall the game right, delete both Medieval2 folders manually. CA's uninstaller is too stupid to do it for you and that's all "delete local content" amounts to..
