No unit banners on the battlefeild ?

Is this normal ?

I can't seem to tell which units im controlling or which units are routing .

Were the flags on top of the units disabled ?

Yes, you have to go into EBII.cfg and change the relevant setting. By default they're disabled.

Uh. The unit cards on the bottom are what you're meant to use to tell if a unit is routing. The banners are just (excuse my french)

but thats just my opinion. its also possible to disable the cinematic camera when a general dies or a gate is broken into though ive forgotten what the command line is in the config

How do I do that, found the relevant file but it doesn't seem to open.

Right click open with notepad. Right click -> properties -> uncheck read only first.

Mine were enabled by default.

Yeah mine were enabled too. Also I can't use the cfg to fix the "no date visible" bug. No idea what's going on.

Does anyone know how to get the "highlight enemy" feature back? It used to be the middle button on the unit panel. It's really hard to recognize the enemy during melee in battle mode.
I do not need the banners tho.
