    Can you take a look at the attached save?

    When I assault Luppae, the battle ends after a few seconds. The battle is concluded as a closed defeat with zero casualties on both sides.

    i had the same problem while assaulting Scythicon in Southern Ukraine and it has no walls.

    Build only one Ram, I bet it works.

    Backstory: Nomad Camps are M2TW castles. At levels 2 and 3 (Camp and Large Camp) the AI thinks you will need ladders and towers. Neither of them work - only Rams. So if you build ladders and/or towers and NOT a Ram, the game will immediately detect that you cannot enter the walls, and it will CTD. And no, we can't fix this it's hardcoded with castles.

    Skythiapolis is another Camp, so I bet august24 did exactly the same thing.

    @Kull, We should update points 6 and 8 in the "not a bug" list to make it clear that the siege equipment must include at least one ram.

    Fortunately not a problem with PSFs (point 6). Updated point 8 per request:

    8) I have to wait one turn and build siege equipment when attacking "camps" without walls. True. The game thinks all of these are castles, and even when they don't have walls, the game is incapable of handling that fact. "All Castles Have Walls!" Minor issue - but it's hardcoded. Everything else works fine (and the sally mechanism DOES work here, thanks to the wonderful efforts of makanyane to defeat the hardcoded limitations. KEY POINT: You must build at least one Ram! The underlying code thinks these are castles and will let you build ladders and towers as well, but both are useless. The game will CTD if it sees you trying to assault a walled level 2 or 3 camp with only ladders/towers.
