Wow, the Getai really are letting loose.
Wow, the Getai really are letting loose.
Update... I know they are quite common, but what's happenening is blowing me away. Around 230BC, VH/H, 1s CAI
First of all. Seems Rhodos really does have nice beaches. Everyone wants it
Greece is in mayhem. Everyone is trying to fight the Ptolemies, but the Romans, yes, ROMANS, have decided to not care and basically are attacking all the hellenistic kingdoms in the area. I'm really wondering how this will end.
Pergamon has finally decided to push all out vs Pontos. They crushed the worldwide acclaimed richest kingdom very shortly. Ofc at the same time Hayasdan attacked Pontos as well, and i said to myself "eh, why not" and attacked them myself as wellThey are down to the last city.
Elswhere we are getting some of the dreaded African wars that would remind someone of WWII more than antiquity. The Baktrians and Taksashila had a short war, and i'll probably invade india myself while waiting for the Romans to come close to Asia, then attack Greece to bring it back under greek control![]()
Where is Taksashila?![]()

what is the faction west of ptolemaoi? KH?
I choose to die on my feet, rather than live on my knees!
Yeah, KH is Ptolemies vassal and that province works as a nice buffer between them and Carthage.![]()
aedui and aruernoi really look like a civil war is taking place
Ha! Having justabout having to save Pergamon, here's 251BC/turn 86:
Note how they've started to rebuild Lysimachos' Thraikian Kingdom, from the European side?
I helped Makedonia taken Krete, transported two armies there, the second one eventually did the job. The Bosporans finally got moving. The Lugiones have exploded (again). The Massylians have suddenly collapsed.
Thats one mighty Taksashila, Poppis. Damn, its even at war with Saba...
Here is my progress as Parthia, sadly on M/M because i didn't know it was meant for at least Hard campaign setting.

Also, is it intended to not be able to build watchtowers in the desert areas of Arabia ?
Macedonia(FYROM) is Bulgarian. If you don't believe me, read a book.
Turn 100, no one destroyed:

Here is turn 100 of my Makedon campaign. Ask if your curious about anything
The map. Some notes:
~grinding war between me and AS. Ptolemies allied with AS but very ineffective. I've invaded them at alexandria and Kyrene. Standard procedure, exterminate all the towns and destroy all the buildings then I'll sail away. Should cripple them for the foreseeable future.
~Bosphoros got rekt by Lugione.
~The Lugione are on a mission to the black sea. They are seemingly the last line between the steppe and europe. They're at war with the sweboz but haven't done much there.
~Boii are vassals of Sweboz.
~Casse expanding well.
~Areuvoni are monstrous, wonder where they're going to expand next. The sweboz or iberians are the only directions.
~Romans are very strong as well. They''re roughly as strong as me militarily and slightly ahead of me population wise. So about the 3rd strongest power.
~Carthage getting destroyed.
~Lusotann dead quiet since turn 40...
~Getai very stronk as well, they're at war with most of the factions bordering the black sea. Apart from me of course.
~Pontos at war with Getai, wish they'd attack the AS while they're at war with me.
~Saba are allied to AS.
~Hayasdan are expanding well and are at war with the steppe factions.
~Naba are quiet.
~Taxa are at war with Baktria
~Baktria seem to be power of the far east.
~Saka reformed from horde.

The remains of a 2 stack that killed my faction leader, A god Incarnate. They were pretty wrecked and need of retraining due to taking Antioch but i could have taken them but my leader died in combat early on and it was impossible to stop the cav from routing and then the rest fought on until they were surround. Lose a a gold xp stack.... I'm on my way to retake Tarsos again and then I'm going to exterminate to as far as Sousa and let it all rebel as a reprisal.

Pity my faction leader has terrible traits. He's like -10 command, he's a sot, a hesitant attacker and kills with kindness which is. He must have massacred 100k people due to exterminations at this point. Here's his stack as well, ran out of cavalry after merging them too much so he's much better at siege battle where the phalangilites are monstrous.

PritanoiCasse expanding well.
Really ?They look quite healthy.Carthage getting destroyed.
Turn 161. Rome H/M, allied with Arevaci, at war with Arverni, Carthage and Boii. V2 patch.
Interesting Epirus empire, also look at that Suevi expansion. Seleucid and Ptolemeii are impressive as always. Celts in general quite slower.
