mss32.dll missing

This is what pops up when i attempt to open up the game via the launcher.

wat do

don't use the launcher, use the provided short cut

you may find a copy of that dll file in the tools\unpacker directory

I used the shortcut of EB II from the desktop for steam users. It still can't find the .dll file, nor can i despite previous searches in other folders

use the bat file from a regular mod and edit it (right click file, choose edit)
in there change 'kingdoms' to 'medieval2' and adjust the name of the mod and name of config file in there

sorry for the cryptic stuff, haven't got my pc to provide examples and using a phone just plainly sucks
