4692 Gauls V 1731 of romes finest
I was bored so thought I'd do a cutom game between me as the senate and 3 gaul armies on large. I had my general Captin Titus, 15 units of urban cohorts, and 4 of the finest roman horsemen my denarii could buy. Gaul had one generals bodyguard and the rest we're the finist troops from all of gaul. So the stongest infantry they could have and all of the units in the game had gold attack, gold defense and 3 gold shevrons.
I set my roman army out like this for the start of the game:
Til I see actually how many gauls there we're and switched to a long single line.
As it took time for one of the gaulish armies to come to the aid of the force in the center i sent 2 units of my horsemen around the flank to kill the first general.
As you can see I killed all there generals.
Then the second one charged my cav so i just attacked him and killed him easily.
The third one was killed by cohorts as he tried to mow his way through them. I never got a screenshot of his death as i pressed the button to late.
By that time I was easily winning the battle so I just had to clean up the remaining barbarians and secure my victory.
At the start I thought I would lose this but I won it. I recieved heavy losses to my flanks as i was flanked by an army on each side.
