Sound problems?

Is anyone else having any sound problems with EB2? Aside the intro video, I have absolutely no sound whatsoever lol. BTW, great job EB team, this game is awesome!

My game is working without sound issues so far, the only thing about the sound is during sieges. When I click hastatii or Principii using siege engines, their voices sound wrong - they do a "crackling" sound.

Now this may sound a little ridiculous but since it's something I've encountered myself: Have you checked in the options whether the game is set to "muted"? It occasionally happens to me that I get a little too eager with my hotkeys in battle and end up pressing a combination that mutes all sound (I believe it's something like Alt+D+Leftclick).

Just a thought.

Yeah I've done that a few times too, freaked me out the first couple of times lol.
I think though that the keyboard shortcut might be just Ctrl-S, as I'm pretty sure I have pressed it accidentally while going for Ctrl-A (select all units)

Except for being slightly unnerved at first by the lack of campaign map voices and a unit or two in my Pontic campaign saying "Yes Sultan!" in battle, the sounds seem okay for me thus far.

Thanks guys I will give the hotkeys a try. Hopefully that will work. I've tried everything I can think of, even checked the EB2 config file. Everything there is set to true, so no luck.

There's also a mention of no sound in the installation woes post now.
